“I admire what ESWIH is doing to raise awareness on women’s health, as well as early breast cancer detection, and I strongly support their efforts.”

ABOUT ESWIH

We are a non-profitable NGO formed of Radiologists, Obstetricians and Surgeons interested in women’s health. Our organization was formed in 2005. Since then, we have held several workshops on women’s health, mainly breast & fetal imaging. Our last scientific event was attended by 600 delegates from various countries including USA, France, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Algeria, Qatar and Syria.

Our Society is also committed to increasing women’s health awareness by organizing various public seminars. In October of 2007, on the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we provided free mammograms to the public at Cairo Scan. We were able to screen 575 women, and detected 25 early stage cancers, thus offering better chances for a full recovery.
